Yes. The Standalone™ is designed for plug-and-play installation. It includes everything needed to fit your vehicle — no cutting wires or rewiring required. Most customers complete the install in 30 to 60 minutes with basic tools. Vehicle-specific ISO adaptors are available to ensure full compatibility with your factory wiring harness.

Does the Standalone™ support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?

Yes. Everse head units support both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Depending on the model, this includes wired and wireless connectivity. This lets you use maps, music, calls, and messages through your phone, displayed on the head unit screen.

Will my factory steering wheel controls still work after installing the Standalone™?

Yes. When used with an Everse ISO Adaptor specific to your vehicle, factory steering wheel controls remain fully functional. The ISO adaptor preserves the original wiring harness connection so volume, track skip, and call answer buttons all work as normal.

Does the Standalone™ have a reversing camera input?

Yes. All Everse head units include a dedicated reverse camera input. The screen automatically switches to the camera view when you select reverse. A compatible Everse reverse camera is available separately in the store.
