Will this head unit fit my vehicle?
Our Nexus head units are universal double-din (and single-din for non-RS models), meaning they fit the vast majority of vehicles with a standard dashboard opening. We also offer vehicle-specific plug & play kits for popular models like the Toyota Hilux N70 and Nissan Patrol Y61. If you're unsure about fitment, send us a message with your vehicle make, model, and year — we'll confirm compatibility for you.
Does it support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto?
Yes — all Nexus head units support both wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Simply connect via Bluetooth or USB and you'll have full access to your apps, maps, music, and messages on the touchscreen display.
How hard is it to install?
Most of our customers install their head unit themselves in under an hour. You'll need basic tools and an ISO adaptor for your vehicle (available on our store). Our plug & play kits make it even easier — no cutting or splicing required. We also have step-by-step guides on our blog to walk you through it.
What warranty do you offer?
All Nexus head units come with a 3-year warranty. Accessories and other products are covered by a 1-year warranty. If something goes wrong, our support team is here to help — just reach out via the contact page and we'll sort it out.
How long does shipping take?
We ship from our warehouse in Perth, Western Australia. Australian orders typically arrive within 3–10 working days. New Zealand orders take 7–14 working days, and international deliveries 10–21 working days depending on destination. All orders include tracking.
What's the difference between Nexus and Nexus Pro?
The Nexus 10.1" features a fixed HD display — perfect for a clean, integrated look. The Nexus Pro 13.3" steps up with a larger Full HD rotating display that switches between landscape and portrait modes. Both run the same Qualcomm processor with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and support CarPlay/Android Auto. Choose the Pro if you want the bigger screen and rotation.
Can I keep my steering wheel controls?
Yes. All Nexus head units support steering wheel control integration. In most vehicles this works out of the box with the included wiring harness and ISO adaptor. Your volume, track skip, and voice controls will work just as they did before.
What apps can I run on the head unit?
Our head units run Android 12, giving you full access to the Google Play Store. Popular apps like Spotify, Netflix, YouTube, Waze, Hema Maps, and thousands more can be downloaded and used directly on the unit. We pre-install our top picks so you're ready to go out of the box.
